It's time to look at the color forecast
and trends for 2009 from around the web to see what people are
saying are the top colors in fashion and in the home. Each year
color forecasts are put out from a variety of sources, so it's
nice to see a couple different perspectives on this.
Pantone's
Spring Color Forecast This
is possibly the most well known and most followed color
forecast you'll find. This year Pantone's spring color
forecast includes some bright spring colors and some neutral
natural colors that are safer for these tougher economic
times. Also, note the number of hot colors based off green
and pink. Green and pink are definitely in the HOT category,
with the green leaning more towards an olive green.
CIFF (Copenhagen International Fashion Foundation)
Spring Color Forecast Here's
a collection of different color forecasts put out by this
group. You'll note their hot colors tend to be more browns,
yellows, and black. You can see some overlap with the
Pantone color forecast in the pinks or Fushia that are
shown.
